They do not set up or show you how to set up your desktop (Finder) or your browser windows with any tools to navigate, enlarge text, e-mail or print. Foothills Mac offers tutoring in the set-up and use of your Mac and I guarantee you will wonder how you got along in the past. Foothills Mac makes house calls to help you and your Mac get connected. The cost is $ 50.00 for the first hour, which includes my travel time and $ 40.00 an hour for each additional on-site hour. This pricing is within Burke County only. An additional charge of $ 20.00 flat rate will be charged for trips to any of the counties adjacent to Burke. This includes Catawba, McDowell, Avery, Cleveland, Lincoln, Watauga, Ashe, Mitchell, Buncombe and Caldwell Counties. Out further than that will be an additional $ 50.00 for travel to areas outside a 50 mile radius of Morganton, North Carolina. Looking for a used Mac? Foothills Mac does, on occasion, have used Apple desktop and laptop models for sale. Once you contact me and get on the e-mail list, you will be automatically notified when these used units are available. Each unit will be checked out completely and cleaned inside & outside and will come with the latest OS X that the unit will take along with Apple and some third-party software. Some units will have hard drive and RAM (memory) upgrades to give them a few more years of usable life.
